Uveal (eye) melanoma
Husband has cancer in the back of the eye. They say it’s a lot different than cutaneous melanoma, but many of us believe it’s just the difference of location in the body. Cancers supposedly have different pathways that makes it confusing. Husband is doing a bunch of “horse paste” type drugs, but no chemo or radiation. It would be nice to know if we are on the right path and need to set up a consultation, but have to get some blood tests first. He doesn’t want to do any scans with dyes (I don’t blame him) to see if there’s metastasis.
Until we get the scans, should he go off of the farm drugs and eat healthy with this protocol? It’s a rare and very deadly cancer and almost nobody goes this route from the first sight of the primary melanoma.
But, we are weirdos who do life differently than everyone else anyway.
