“Inadequate maternal niacin intake is associated with an increased risk of congenital anomalies in the offspring.

These findings may have implications in dietary counseling and use of niacin supplementation during pregnancy.”

Not only does niacin help during pregnancy to protect against birth defects/mutations– it helps maintain fertility beforehand as well:

“the researchers found that when the pregnant mother took vitamin B3, they corrected these mutations. This was seen as a “double breakthrough,” as scientists discovered both a cause and a possible solution. The cause, NAD, and the solution, niacin.”

“In this study, niacin was found to promote ovarian follicle growth, reducing the risk of oocyte apoptosis and overall infertility.3

“niacin is required to help you maintain optimal health, supporting your fertility”

“Miscarriage and embryonic death have been associated with a deficiency in NAD+ resulting from a lack of dietary niacin in women and mice.”

” NA at a dose of 3 g daily during the follicular phase of the oestrous cycle altered the NA metabolite composition of the dominant follicle.”
