Thank you for sharing this, and I can completely understand your mother’s hesitation after her experience with flush niacin (B3) years ago. What you describe—feeling like she was going to pass out—is not a surprising response I ultimately realize when niacin is given in isolation, especially to those who because of the lack of niacin now…

I already let Dr Kats know this, but sharing with the group. I was on Hypothyroid Rx for 15ish years. Stopped the Rx sometime in 2021. My numbers have been out of range until the addition of Tryptophan! I got my tsh tested last week and it’s normal! I cannot tell you how happy I am about it, this combination is amazing. Thank you so much Dr Kats!!!

I’ve been taking the trio for about 2.5 weeks now and feeling good! I did get headaches at the beginning (was taking between 500-1000mg NA with others in ratio). Dr Kats recommended to increase to 2000mg NA with AA and T in ratio. I did bump up to 2g and then 2.5g and the headache turned more into head pressure and finally no headache the last…

Serotonin reloading in brain … the first few weeks are certainly a modulation… then things get smooth.. for some, it gets smooth within days .. but definitely it’s nice on the other side once you break through

Funny, for me I only used to get occasional headaches from the old pure bunk niacin . Sadly my wife still takes the capsules ( Im workin on her ) and in a moment of weakness recently when I was heading out for the night, I grabbed a few with some absorbic acid pills she still takes . The next morinng the headaches came right back. Lesson…
