Has anyone played around with timing of some/all of the components in consideration?
One thing that may come in play for those with graver disruption of the l-methionine flux through the one-carbon cycle (i.e., those more along the junction of immunosuppression / continued metabolic dysfunction as a result of a higher volume of cumulative inflammation into ROS/NOS/cellular failure manifesting along a phenotypic shift of the energy metabolism to more anaerobic settings), is the timing of the protocol.
For example, taking l-methionine, even a small/normal dose, and not providing the next dominoes (including B-vitamins, l-serine, choline … into R-lipoic + niacin) in time to handle a what can be too quick-for-comfort action of the l-methionine processing the more one is in demand of it in these situations (as aforementioned).
Especially for the sake of preventing such undesired acute responses and to instill a smooth as possible recovery, I am leaning towards having the protocol elements essentially all be taken after meals (consumed and dosed with each element in protocol still as best as you can with the sun being out (i.e., not before dawn or after dusk)) in a fashion as so:
1. Eat brunch/lunch
2. Right after eating, take l-methionine.
3. Approximately 2-5 minutes after l-methionine, take l-serine, followed right after by B-complex (including maybe just a bit of TMG/DMG if it is beneficial – do not over do either of these though & if either is not helpful, no need in that case – too much going on then), and subsequently by choline (I like the Body Bio PC Complex that provides Phosphatidylcholine (and other phospholipids that should be helpful).
4. Wait 15 min or so (or if you start feeling the needed immune response re-activate (maybe a bit hot, heavy out of nowhere), then take right then) and take R-lipoic acid (preferably bioenhanced proper product) together with flush niacin… and melatonin if you’re ready for it too with those as well.
5. About 10 minutes after that, consume the standard dose (i.e., usually 4 oz for everyone regardless of age or size) of ASEA (stabilized chlorine / sodium salts). Relax. Enjoy life.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 above but for an early dinner (i.e., try to be done eating and taking all supplements going into the sun going down).
7. Tulsi tea after dusk into sleep (especially if you’re doing melatonin, assuming it’s clicking too).
8. Activated charcoal (maybe 1 g usually for recovery doses) before bed (awesome after IR sauna) with water, assuming no melatonin that evening dose taken before and no supplements/meals eaten at least 2 hours coming into taking the charcoal.
With all this, each instrument of the orchestra in tune, we likely won’t have to take as high of dose of each component. Dosing at something like at or (depending on need & individual factors at play) double the level of the dose/serving size specified on the product, may be the move, considering the synergistic albeit independent mechanisms we are synthesizing in application…
What are your personal experiences with and opinions about (or even advice that can be offered to improve) strategies relevant to dosing timing and trajectory that have or have not worked

I am working on making it now… are you going high enough with lipoic? Try to keep that flowing …

Yes, @andrew – the higher serine was beneficial then because it was needing to work harder without the l-methionine… I don’t know if going that high will be needed necessarily again with methionine on top (and say choline)… the kinetics of how the methionine recouping will respond are not clear in terms of how fast we want them flowing (wherein that serine would expedite the methione flow certainly)… Did you notice less need for l-serine upon adding l-methionine (/building up with meth)?

EXACTLY what I am trying to fully disentangle right now… what level of serine, methionine, really everything are you taking to try to tease out the effects?

Any updates?
