Niacin and eosinophils
Have loved my response to flushing Niacin. Many Many benefits that I have documented. I have faithfully consumed between 500mg -1000 mg daily with documented reduction in cholesterol. I have used for about 3 months and have had blood drawn three times. Each time my eosinophils have risen. The range is up to 500 for most labs and I am now at 940. All other markers are fine (liver, kidney, etc.). I can only think that the Niacin is causing a reaction of some sort. I’m at a stopping point as I don’t know if I should proceed. Any thoughts thank you.

So you are trying to chase the niacin to do more, however, at this stage of not addressing the niacin deficiency until a certain point, niacin became underpowered to get into cells more and do more therapy as you want until the proper l-glutamine (which originally we figured the free form l-glutamine would readily suffice, but it turns out it’s the acetylated form we want, N-acetyl-L-glutamine as per outlined on https://HOM3OSTASIS.com/Protocol ) is delivered alongside. This glutamine gets depleted in the body and even tried to form endogenously in emergency mechanisms then to try to provide energy source in lieu of niacin (and to try to make niacin to NAD+ more) as niacin remains deficient and unaddressed for too long, and then recouping niacin via supplementation of it as monotherapy (i.e., without proper glutamine) can only get so deep as you’re experiencing. As soon as the glutamine (provided in acetylated form) starts coming with niacin in equimolar amount (so delivered in ratio of whatever niacin mass is in grams, multiply by 1.53 to get n-acetyl-l-glutamine dose to come with it, e.g. 1 g flush niacin + 1.53 g n-acetyl-l-glutamine), you will experience niacin at last getting deeper readily to address these deeply stubborn issues too. This is because niacin’s GPR109A receptor that signals how much work niacin needs to do and so how much niacin can bind to it and get into each cell, becomes more downregulated and unable to signal the according work as much that niacin needs to do more, as the inflammation and oxidative stress in a way keep it concealed/inactive to be reupregulated for niacin and induce actual damage that more glutamine now is needed, that the body does not have anymore to give, to start rebuilding and resignalling and restoring for niacin to get into the cells now fully.

I thank you so very much. Yes, I have been taking regular glutamine not the one you suggest, so I just corrected that. Yes, I would love to be in any group chats however I only have a cell number or email at this time. I find this so fascinating and helpful. I have listened to all your podcasts that I can find.

Also as a follow up please. Do you see any reason why I simply can’t open up the cap and place the niacin directly in some distilled water and stir it, thus eliminating the cap? I did that this morning and the flush was faster and I feel better about not digesting the cap. Am I thinking about this right?

Yes, exactly – this would be the most efficient method if you have the PureBulk bovine gelatin capsules, which are literally the powders in the simple capsule that allows it to be released with no microcrystalls like the veggie cellulose capsules… I have this noted on the left side of https://HOM3OSTASIS.com/Protocol that we can just take the contents out the bovine gel capsules and dump into glass of water… so yes this is totally cool and even preferred method with capsules… also, you are able to access Telegram on your cell phone no problem… please review these directions:
