“Niacin activated genes involved in riboflavin metabolism and flavin synthesis”
Exogenous niacin enhances Cd tolerance in pepper via NADP(H) pool expansion, photosynthetic electron transport recovery and antioxidant system activation

“the Cd+NAC1 treatment significantly enhanced the expression level of the gene encoding NAD+ synthase (EC:6.3.1.5). Correspondingly, compared with mono-Cd treatment, the Cd+NAC1 treatment significantly increased the accumulation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+, NADP+ and NADPH) and its precursor metabolites, including…

In the riboflavin biosynthesis pathway, Cd and exogenous NAC influenced the expression levels of four enzyme-coding genes involved in the biosynthesis of riboflavin and its derivatives. The genes encoding riboflavin synthase (EC:2.5.1.9), riboflavin kinase (EC:2.7.1.26), FMN hydrolase (EC:3.1.3.102), and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase type… Read more

“Vitamin” C:
Niacin treatment up-regulated the expression of these genes and enhanced the accumulation of ascorbate (ASA) and GSH.

THIS IS A VERY THOROUGH, EXCELLENT STUDY. I highly recommend for ALL to read.

Niacin against CVD per the Medical Level 1A Evidence
Here is a document comprising how flush niacin (immediate release nicotinic acid) fairs against all sorts of cardiovascular diseases, per evidence from double-blinded randomized placebo-controlled human clinical interventional trials as well as meta-analyses of them.
-
Note it was for a member worried about specifically recurrent MI (myocardial infarction), but you can switch MI for pretty much every other cardiovascular disease outcome/event such as strokes, heart failure, and aneurysms.

Free-form L-tryptophan
The nature of the stimulation of the growth of Streptococcus
lactis by yeast extract

Fraction 3 = huge quantity of total amino acids and peptides (all sorts of building blocks). It gives ~75% of the stimulation.
Fraction 6 = tiny mass, mostly tryptophan, not a mix. It alone gives ~20% of the stimulation.
That means a single amino acid (free tryptophan), in microgram-scale availability, is contributing almost a THIRD of the… Read more -

Why “fast” aka torture + starve yourself when we got NIACIN (https://HOM3OSTASIS.com/InfinaLife). Been saying this… now, it’s further proven in human trials. You’re welcome.
