sophia-k posted an update
@GPR109A @HOM3OSTASIS Dmitry, just in case you did not see my earlier post. I took 500 mg of methionine last night and my sleep was fragmented. I usually take the methionine after breakfast..with all the usual supplements of Niacin, R lipoic acid and there wasn’t a sleep issue. Any thoughts about sleep and methionine? Thank you!

@therealbiedz I do not think it was the melatonin. I have been using high doses of melatonin since Oct. 2021 from Zetpil (100mg) for therapy not necessarily for sleep. I believe methionine could be tricky for sleep..at least it was for me. Hope you continue to feel better.

@therealbiedz I have not tried the Tulsi Tea yet, need to go to Whole Foods.
In regards to Melatonin, I read an interesting paper by Russian scientist last Oct. stating that bats have the highest level of melatonin of all mammals. As you know bats carry a lot of viruses, but stay healthy. The hypothesis is that the melatonin protects the bats from the various viruses.
Wishing you the best…

@therealbiedz As you probably know the pineal gland secretes melatonin. The researchers removed the bats’ pineal gland and the bats developed respiratory symptoms. Fascinating stuff!

This represents the disease pathology stalling and starting to revert back towards where it was before the disease but this time traveling back towards homeostasis and not away as before…
