Border collies are one of my favorite breeds! But as we know, their original job of herding livestock especially sheep over the generations has led to more exposure to toxic pesticides and thus these breeds having more susceptibility to toxins in general getting more readily into their cells (aka MDR1 mutation). I am mentioning this because it in general makes these breeds incur higher requirements for CNT versus other breeds. Neddy’s age of 11 now provides a solid additional decade+ of accruing toxic exposures of life that he’s been through, now manifesting in the form of canine arthritis at the threshold of what would be conceived as “full-blown” diagnosis as of recently.

With that, I would start at a solid 500 mg niacin level (so 1 g total of CNT, which comes out to about a half teaspoon), mixed into wet food well. The pup will absolutely demolish it, you’ll see. I would increase then to 750 mg niacin level next dose then 1 g niacin level the subsequent, and keep it around there, maybe a bit extra up to 1.5 g niacin level just to test out like by 5th dose. But in general, have them settle around that 1 g niacin level (maybe a bit more up to 1.25).

Note that the pup may vomit or poop out a lot of toxins accrued early after the first few doses, which is good, and as their GI reprograms and tissue regenerates, by the fourth dose or so, they will stop vomiting / diarrhea if they were before after early doses.

Other than that, you should see him really start to get better and better right under your eyes. They will love you more too!

Roger all that thankyou 🙏, after I sent you message he went ccompletely lame so I roughly calculated a 500gm base mix as I still have all three separate still, within two hours he was walking !!!!!

Then followed up with a 600gm dose.

Would this have that result if it was hip or arthritis ? or maybe leading towards an injury, either WTF I couldn’t be my Fnnnn eyes, it’s my wife’s special boy I’m positive she loves him more than me lol, we will get an Xray this morning, just checked now as its 5:30 am and he seems very happy this morning
