• Had been on the protocol for almost 1 week before getting blood drawn Feb 24 and also taking NAD shots (4 total), stopped taking my NDT, and new labs show improvement in Cholesterol, lowered my glucose and my MCV, but AC1 stayed the same, Thyroid Peroxidase went up from 38 to 48 and Thyroglobulin AB up from 2 to 6..will continued use of protocol eventually correct and lower these to correct the Hashimoto direction of my thyroid?

      • Let me reply to this in detail in a little bit (about to eat dinner ha) … please do not worry though … everything normal … just a few tweaks we need to iron out to expedite success… can you go over which products you have and how you’re preparing each dose? Thanks!

        • Yes, so this is good we are getting control of glucose and lipid metabolism back! That’s usually the first start as niacin-glutamine then get deeper and more ubiquitous through the body. And we see already the thyroid is resurrecting! These are huge improvements within a month! Since you alluded to adjusting dosing from the original, incorrect 1:3 N:G ratio to the proper 1:1.187 N:G one now, I do think some of these thyroid levels went up faster than they should have, ha, based on this awesome paper:

Either way, we want to continue at this equimolar (1:1.187) ratio of N:G, which you are likely seeing is way smoother too, as it is supposed to be. I think you will definitely see remodulation to ideal levels on the next test in a month or so. Whether the thyroid is under- and/or over- active (trust me – I have seen people’s thyroid counts show Hashimoto’s one day and literally overactive thyroid the next, even naturally, these crazy days), delivering these two nutrients in the equimolar ratio will rectify everything to the direction/junction we need. You can go up even higher like both those with over- and under-active thyroid have been doing (as so many do need more, it seems especially those with over-active thyroid) and per observations, everything settles down and remodulates to where we want. I would also do the next test without supplementing (or exercising) at least 36 hours before just to have it as unbiased readings as possible. I do not think you will have any issues and only further success (but at a much less erratic pace) with higher dosing, yes even up to 10-12 g doses if you wish. The worst that will happen is if they are too high or done too long, you end up just urinating out the excess that the body can’t process at the time. And of course, after testing out and evaluating the higher dosing for however long you feel you needed them, you can titrate down to the more anti-aging/prophylactic levels. Please let me know if this makes sense.
